Winter Overcotes is the interchange between the East Barsetshire Light Railway and the Great Western main line to the cathedral city of Barchester.

It is set just after Nationalisation in the late 1940s/early 1950s.

The setting for the model is inspired by the Barsetshire-set novels of Angela Thirkell.

Although freelance, the model is based on and inspired by in particular on the Welshpool and Llanfair Light Railway.

Promoting model railways and real ones in East Cheshire.
