MACCLESFIELD MODEL RAILWAY GROUP would like to thank everyone who supported our show on 11th & 12th April. It was the most successful show we’ve had for many, many years and a fantastic response to our move to our new venue.
To those who organised it and those that volunteered their help, Kings School who host the event, the exhibitors who demonstrated their skills and showed us their incredidible model railways, all the traders who provide so many of the ‘essentials’ for the hobby, our catering staff, those who helped ‘spread the word’ by ‘liking’ and ‘sharing’ our posts, the two classic buses that ferried so many to and from the town centre and, of course, every single visitor …. we could not have done it without ALL OF YOU!
Thank you , somehow, doesn’t even begin to cover the gratitude we feel for all your amazing support.

MMRG’s Annual Model Railway Exhibition
You might find that this ‘N’ scale layout is more than a little reminiscent of the Buxton/Dove Hoes area. You’d be right because it is based on that area! Whilst it is not modelled on any real location, it is an imaginary portrayal of what might have been given an alternative history.
You can see this layout (and 24 others!) at our show on 11th & 12th April at the Kings School Sports Hall, Alderley Road, Macclesfield, SK10 4RH …. our first and biggest show at this new venue.
