MMRG’s Annual Model Railway Exhibition

You might find that this ‘N’ scale layout is more than a little reminiscent of the Buxton/Dove Hoes area. You’d be right because it is based on that area! Whilst it is not modelled on any real location, it is an imaginary portrayal of what might have been given an alternative history.

You can see this layout (and 24 others!) at our show on 11th & 12th April at the Kings School Sports Hall, Alderley Road, Macclesfield, SK10 4RH …. our first and biggest show at this new venue.

I guess many of us will be thinking of getting away from it all this summer and if you are planning your escape to the Swiss Alps, perhaps we can offer you something of a preview. Swiss Pass is just one of the 25 layouts visiting our show on the 11th & 12th April at the Kings School Sports Hall, Alderley Road but it does beautifully reflect the scenery you will see on your Swiss escape.

It’s a great layout you really should not miss seeing.

ARE YOU COMING TO OUR SHOW?

These two are! In fact they will be coming from the station, through town, to our show and back again at least twelve times on both days of the show and you can hop aboard either for a FREE ride!

Macclesfield Model Railway Group’s annual model railway exhibition is being held at The Kings School Sports Hall, Alderley Road, Macclesfield, SK10 4RH on Saturday 11th (10.00 – 17.00 hrs) April and Sunday 12th (10.00 – 16.30 hrs) April.

The free bus service starts from Waters Green (station) at 09.30 to the exhibition (and back!) with the last return at 16.30 hrs. It is a half hourly service.
