From 2 to 22 August, major engineering work means no trains at Stockport, Macclesfield, or Stoke-on-Trent.

– Rail replacement buses will be in operation, but journeys will take longer.

– Trains between London and Manchester will still run, taking a slightly longer route. Services to and from Manchester and Liverpool will be less frequent, and we’ll have a reduced timetable at Lichfield Trent Valley and Tamworth.
