Welcome to the website devoted to the Macclesfield Model Railway Group's 7mm scale, 'O' gauge model railway.

Hammeston Wharf depicts a fictious section of Midland Railway secondary mainline. The layout is set in the early 1920s and includes industrial railway, narrow gauge and tram sections.

Hammeston Wharf was featured in the February 2007 edition of British Railway Modelling and the October, December 2000, February 2001 editions of Railway Modeller.

Recent changes to the layout include conversion of the fiddleyards into 7ft diameter turntables to avoid handling the rolling stock.
